Carol Schrader

Good things can begin in very interesting ways. Carol — or "Colesworthy" as everyone calls her — is a 20+ year veteran of the wine industry who has enjoyed a successful career as a Creative Director for Chandon Estates, Franciscan Estates, and online retailer wine.com.

A U.C.L.A. graduate, Colesworthy first ventured to the Napa Valley on a photography assignment, where she was instantly enchanted by the wine country lifestyle. On a referral from a local printer, she reached out to Schrader Cellars to develop their latest Zinfandel project. Within weeks, Colesworthy and Fred met to discuss label designs, and began what would grow into a dynamic partnership.

Today, she is the creative force behind Schrader Cellars, where she uses her keen business sense to manage daily operations of the business. Colesworthy and Fred currently live in the heart of the Valley with their magnificent Golden Retriever, Rocky.
