2019 LPV: The immense 2019 Schrader LPV offers a heady wallop of wild blueberries, blackberries, and cassis fruit character with captivating notes of mesquite, espresso, rich chocolate, black tea, tobacco, graphite, and forest floor. Complex and complete, the wine is full-bodied with generous, plush fruit flavors that continue to expand on the palate and carry on at full force to the indulgently long, expressive finish. Grown on the gentle slopes of West St. Helena, the vines endure the added stress of the rocky soils to produce wines of exceptional concentration and formidable structure.
2019 CCS: Extraordinarily rich and inky dark, the opulent 2019 Schrader CCS is loaded with gobs of ultra-ripe blue and black fruit aromas and flavors. Summer-picked blackberries, boysenberries, wild blueberries, and plum preserves abound and are layered with alluring notes of violets, black truffles, sweet earth, graphite, and fruitcake spice. Offering lavish fruit character, fine structure, and silky-smooth tannins, the 2019 Schrader CCS carries forward the tradition of excellence for the marque as one of the most honored and adored wines in our portfolio.
2019 WH: Our debut release of Schrader WH Cabernet Sauvignon adds dimension to our portfolio as the grapes are grown on a hillside in the upper end of the acclaimed Stags Leap District. The glossy eggplant hue hints at the complement of red, blue, and purple fruit characters present in the wine. Blackberry, dark currant, red cherry, and briar berry aromas combine with pleasing threads of baking spice, black licorice, floral petal, and soft, dusty earth tones. This stunning wine shows the tremendous power of a classic Napa Valley Cabernet handsomely paired with an ample fruit core, firm structure, integrated tannins, and a polished, long-lasting finish.
