The Monastery Block is located on the western side of the To Kalon Vineyard, nestled against the foothills of the Mayacamas adjacent to the Carmelite monastery from which it takes its name. The wine is produced from 100% Clone 169 Cabernet Sauvignon planted on well-drained gravelly soils, showing a classic Oakville expression that balances rich black fruit with minerality and a floral component. Elegant and classically styled, this wine is generous, layered, and fresh.

Sourced from a single block in the To Kalon Vineyard, this “Heritage Clone” produces impossibly small clusters with tiny berries and very low yields. Densely fruited and plush with lively acidity for balance, this is an elegant and expressive wine that offers a provocative range of flavors such as ripened red cherries, chocolate shavings, mandarin orange rind, and sweet earth.

Unfailingly red-fruited and plush yet balanced with savory notes of roasted coffee and supple silky tannins. The most generous wine in our portfolio, RBS tends to be more approachable upon release than our other bottlings.

An alluvial fan provides excellent mineral deposits, and the rich soils are filled with marine sediment. The wine is a rare blend of power, structure and elegance that balances rich fruit with more delicate floral notes. Full-bodied with muscular structure and ripe, polished tannins.

Sourced from the Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard in Rutherford, this wine is produced from 100% Clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes originated from a specific section of the vineyard that was formerly part of the Napa River riverbed. This section benefits from an abundance of minerals and rocks left behind that makes it distinct from the surrounding terroir. Medium- to full-bodied and approachable in its youth, this wine features notes of sweet tobacco, spearmint, and ripe red fruit with opulent and soft, rounded tannins.
